A NEW HOME FOR OUR MAURITIUS TEAM

Investing in People, Collaboration and Future Growth

Clermont Trust Mauritius has reached an exciting milestone with the relocation of its team to a new office in Cascavelle Business Park. Completed at the end of June, the move provides a modern, purpose-designed workspace that reflects the continued growth of the business and its long-term commitment to Mauritius.

The new office brings together 59 colleagues in a significantly larger environment designed to support collaboration, client service and future expansion. Covering approximately 800 square metres, the new office is around twice the size of the previous workspace and provides room for up to 100 colleagues, supporting future growth.

“This move represents an exciting new chapter for our Mauritius team. It reflects Clermont’s continued growth and our commitment to investing in our people by providing a modern, collaborative and professional environment that supports both wellbeing and high performance. It also reinforces our long-term commitment to Mauritius as a key hub within the Clermont Group,” says Nigel Lee, Managing Director of Clermont Trust Mauritius.

Designed to encourage teamwork while providing dedicated areas for focused work and client meetings, the office features eight managers’ offices, a director’s office, dedicated IT facilities, a 14-seat conference room, two meeting rooms, three meeting booths, and a spacious breakout area where colleagues can connect throughout the day.

The response from the team has been overwhelmingly positive.

“The team has embraced the new space with enthusiasm and a real sense of pride. The improved facilities, open and collaborative environment, and enhanced employee amenities have created a positive energy as we settle into our new home,” shares Nigel.

Supporting the Next Chapter

Behind the scenes, the relocation was the result of months of planning and close collaboration across multiple teams and external partners. From the building’s initial shell through to the final move, the project took around three months to complete, with the physical relocation taking place over two weeks.

Yannick Labonne, Head of IT and Mauritius Operations, coordinated the project alongside contractors, designers and operational suppliers to ensure the office was ready for day one.

“Careful planning and regular coordination were essential throughout the project. While there were daily challenges and adjustments along the way, close collaboration between everyone involved helped us keep the project on track and deliver a fully operational office for the team,” explains Yannick.

The new workspace also strengthens Clermont Trust’s ability to support future growth. Improved technology infrastructure, flexible meeting facilities and additional capacity will enable colleagues to collaborate more effectively while continuing to deliver the high standard of service clients expect.

“The new office provides a more comfortable, collaborative and efficient working environment for our people today, while giving us the flexibility to support future growth and continue delivering exceptional service to our clients,” adds Nigel.

The relocation marks another important step in Clermont Trust’s continued growth, creating an environment where people can work together, support one another and continue building long-term relationships with clients across jurisdictions.
